Unnamed Waterfall in the San Bernardino National Forest, California

Slow down. Look closer. Reflect.

Welcome to an unnamed waterfall in the San Bernardino National Forest, where water rushes over dark rock and disappears into the landscape below.

These photographs were created by looking at the same waterfall from different perspectives. From farther away, you can see the waterfall as a whole. Move closer, and that single stream of water becomes thousands of individual droplets suspended in the air, each one there for only a moment before continuing on its way.

This week’s Look Closer experience is an invitation to notice what changes when you change your perspective. As you explore these photographs, notice the movement of the water, the textures of the wet rock, the greenery growing around it, and the tiny droplets that are almost impossible to see until everything else disappears from view.

Sometimes we think we need to see the whole picture to understand something.

But sometimes, the closer we look, the more there is to see.

Take a slow breath.

Give your eyes time to wander.

Let’s begin.

✨ Before You Leave...

Did you...

☐ Take one slow breath.

☐ Think about one thing you noticed that you almost missed.

☐ Remember that looking at something from a new angle can help you see something new.

☐ Take a little bit of this calm with you.

☐ Keep looking closer. There is always more to see.

Every week I head into nature with my camera, never knowing exactly what I'll find.

Sometimes it's wildlife.

Sometimes it's a waterfall.

Sometimes it's something hidden in plain sight.

Thank you for slowing down and exploring with me today.

I'll see you on the next trail.

The world has always been beautiful. Thank you for taking a moment to notice it.

If one of these places spoke to you, you can bring it home.

Beauty in the Fall
from $128.50
We spend so much of life trying to stay on the way up.

But nature reminds us that there can be beauty in the fall, too.

Beauty in the Fall captures water surrendering to gravity, allowing itself to drop before continuing its journey below. It does not resist the fall. It moves through it.

Life has ups and downs too. There will be moments when we rise and moments when things do not go the way we hoped. Neither lasts forever, and both are part of the experience of being alive.

Maybe we do not have to fear every fall.

Maybe we can trust ourselves enough to experience the highs, move through the lows, and find something beautiful along the way.

This metal print is perfect for therapy and counseling spaces, wellness centers, offices, recovery spaces, bedrooms, or homes where a gentle reminder to embrace life's ups and downs, trust the journey, and find beauty in every season can become part of the environment.

This metal print is a dimensional and high-quality piece of art that stands the test of time while remaining easy to clean and care for. The artwork looks luminescent against the wall and the metal base means it’ll last a long time.

• Aluminum metal surface
• MDF Wood frame
• Can hang vertically or horizontally 1/2″ off the wall
• Scratch and fade resistant
• Fully customizable

This Too Shall Pass
from $483.50
Nature does not stay in one season forever, and neither do we.

This Too Shall Pass captures a tree standing bare while life continues to grow around it. Its branches may be empty now, but they will not always be. What looks like an ending may simply be a season of rest, change, or preparation for what comes next.

Our difficult seasons are temporary too. Sadness changes. Uncertainty changes. Even the moments we wish we could hold onto forever eventually change.

Nothing stays exactly as it is.

So when life feels heavy, remember that this moment is not your whole story.

This too shall pass.

This metal print is perfect for therapy and counseling spaces, wellness centers, recovery spaces, offices, bedrooms, or homes where a gentle reminder of hope, acceptance, resilience, and the temporary nature of difficult seasons can become part of the environment.

This metal print is a dimensional and high-quality piece of art that stands the test of time while remaining easy to clean and care for. The artwork looks luminescent against the wall and the metal base means it’ll last a long time.

Change is Good
from $128.50
Change does not always happen gently.

Change is Good captures water falling through a canyon shaped over time by movement, pressure, and persistence. The landscape did not become what it is by staying the same. Water moved, rock shifted, life grew, and little by little, something beautiful was formed.

We go through seasons of change too. Some we choose. Some we do not. Some feel exciting, while others ask us to release what was familiar before we can see what is taking shape.

Change can feel uncomfortable and still be leading us somewhere beautiful.

Sometimes becoming requires us to let life reshape us.

This metal print is perfect for therapy and counseling spaces, wellness centers, offices, schools, meditation spaces, or homes where a gentle reminder of transition, resilience, acceptance, and growth can become part of the environment.

Enjoy the Fall
from $128.50

Not every fall has to be something we fear.

Enjoy the Fall captures water in the middle of its descent, splashing, scattering, and even rising for a moment along the way. It knows the fall is temporary. The water will land, gather itself, and keep moving.
Life has moments like this too.
When we find ourselves in a low season, we can become so focused on getting back up that we forget we are still living while we are there. There can still be laughter. There can still be beauty. There can still be moments worth noticing.
The fall is only part of the journey.
So while you are here, splash a little.
This metal print is perfect for therapy and counseling spaces, wellness centers, offices, schools, recovery spaces, or homes where a playful reminder to embrace life's temporary lows, find joy along the way, and trust that movement will continue can become part of the environment.
